Vineyard
A single vineyard harvest from Dos Puentes´ vineyard, located in the Valle de Uco at 1100mt above sea level. This vineyard benefits from long, sunny growing days and cool nights at the foot of the Andes mountains.
Winemaking:
Harvested by hand in the third week of April; de-stemmed and crushed. Underwent 15 days of fermentation at 25-28C in upright, conical steel tanks. Aged in new French Oak for 18 months.
Tasting Notes
This refined wine has an intense color and a vigorous structure. Concentrated aromas of blackberry, plums and sweet spices warm the glass. The time spent in new French oak gives the wine hints of tobacco and vanilla intertwined with black and green pepper notes. Healthy tannins allow for a long and pleasant finish.
