A Single vineyard harvest from Dos Puentes´ vineyard located in the Valle de Uco at 3200ft. above sea level. Rich loam to sandy loam alluvial soil with presence of calcium carbonate and limestone.
This vineyard benefits from long, sunny growing days and cool nights at the foot of the Andes mountains.
The Rosé is made in three stages. The Pinot Noir is first picked in mid February, followed by the Malbec and Cabernet Franc in the first week of March. The grapes were separately pressed, and then fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. . Then, 10 % of the must finishes its fermentation in French oak barrels. The three varietals are then combined and further rest in stainless steel tanks for three months.
This Rosé is packed with fresh and fruity flavors with aromas of sun-kissed red berries. Fresh mouthfeel combined with a nice backbone of acidity, and a clean dry finish.
